has anyone had problems with microtech the company

we called the company to reprogram a ltx12s from a nissan sr20 to a rotary second gen we down loaded a form that clearly reads 200au for the work no problem but we asked a few times through emails it took time but we got a response the form does say 200 but thats for customs there price is anywhere from 250au to 350au we know which one that would be plus 65 for return shipping is there any place in the states that reprograms these computers any information please

The 200AUD is just for it to clear customs... UPS put a value on my ECU at 1200USD and it was put on customs hold forever... ~6months.

Also make sure UPS or whoever puts the country of origin as Australia...

I still dont know how there isnt two separate values: one for the insurable value of the unit, and one for cost of the service. I was very worried about sending an expensive ECU across the world with a 200AUD ~185USD insurable rate. If it got lost you'd be up ***** creek without a paddle...

Its a shame there is no stateside service. I kinda wish my 7 didnt have a microtech in it when I bought it.

what did it end up coming out to ? . i was told it would be between 250 and 350 and i had an idea it would be the higher quote , well i was right it was the higher amount . It's like they want you to send it and once it's in australia your screwed .

Took 7 months to get our LT-10. I didn't mind because the car was in the shop anyway, but I could've gotten a black market Cheetah imported quicker than that lol
