Ok ive searched with no symptoms like mine. I bought my friends handheld off of him today. When i hooked it up to the ecu it doesnt even power up. Now ive seen quite a few people say that the cable is screwed. Fair enough, so i plug the handheld directly into the ecu and still the same problem. Now i know the handheld is fine because when we hook it up to his car and it works. Also when its not plugged in the amber light is on but as soon as i plug it in it turns off. Car still runs fine and starts. I just cant get the handheld to work. Could i have a broken connection in there? The fact that the amber light shuts off when i plug it in concerns me.
