FC BAC valve operation

Anyone got their stock BAC working? I pluged mine to switched power and the white wire, but I just get a 3000rpm idle, i just want to set the target idle to 750rpm so it hangs there when i turn the AC on ect. I am not using the imput on the AC wire, as i want it to compensate for all loads, headlights ect.

Yes, I have set all the binary operations to OFF. THe strangest thing is, the dash unit is displaying a MS output as if the ECU thinks it is outputting something to the BAC, but it is a no go. I do know the wiring is right however because I can light a test light and open the BAC to 100% with the RPM_on function.

Ok spoke to microtech for you, it needs to be set as a PWM by them, standard it is just a switching wire,
he said it would be a 3-4 day turn around at the moment,

Yea, that in a word SUCKS. For some reason old *** outdated DOS software, and POS datalogging is looking more and more attractive. There is NO WAY, I can set this up myself? I mean, its not going to make me sell my Microtech, but it is quite a big pain in the rear.

Now that the Microtech has a larger prescence then ever before in the US, are they planning on setting someone up state side that can preform atleast limited functions like these?

That would be EXTREMELY useful information to have posted on MICROTECHEFI.COM. Saved me some hassle and time. At least I found out before the unit left austraillia!!!

Yes. In fact, that's our #1 priority right now.

unfortunatly there is nothing that can be done at the moment,

in a very short time every microtech dealer will be able to reconfigure the units,

I know BR7 is working with Jon on this at the moment
