Exclamation coolant temp sending unit

hey i have my lt10 installed and everything is running but i was looking through my hanes manual and it was telling me that the coolant temp sending unit is by the oil pressure sending unit and i have my wires hooked to the sensor on the water pump by the alt the one with two wires coming out is that right ?

You have connected it to the correct sensor.
the one on the water pump housing beside the alternator.

ok and one more thing i am still getting a flashing red light and i checked over all my wiring and everything is good i have an old o2 sensor do you think thats the problem

do you have a hand controller if so scroll to the left on the defalt screen and tell us what the errors are saying it may not have anything to do what the wireing it could be a low battery or something

BTW, if it's an orange flashing light - syncron to rpm - this would be normal.

dont have a controller so i couldnt tell ya what the prob is and yes i know that the orange flashing light is good but i do have a red flashing light but the car doesnt run pretty good

so the car runs good or bad?

the red light error is probably air temp sensor.
only way to find out is with handset or laptop.
