Microtech BAT error information...
Okydoke, so I'm out cleaning up my afrs a bit on the transition into boost and I notice an error light pop up. BAT error, can honestly say I have never encountered this before.
First things first, I checked battery voltage at my lm-1 and at the laptop, 14.3 on lm-1 (wired right to battery) and 14.2 on laptop. Battery is damn near brand new (ie, <6 months and not being used daily.) Alternator could be going, I replaced that just about 2 years ago. Car runs and drives fine still pulls through all gears(didnt try 5th) up to 7500. idles fine, etc...
Any light anyone could shed on the BAT error would be most appreciated.
Oh yeah, and the search is messed, apparently "rpm" gives 0 results when searching the entire forum.
thanks!

if it comes up with BAT error its either cause the voltage is too low or too HIGH.
i think if it drops below 7-8v it will sing the bat error or if it goes over 16vv.
get the microtech to log voltage and see whats happening when its spits the error.
i reckon your gona find a spke somewere.
