My car is a FC by the way.

I'm looking at buying a new LTX-8 from someone on the board (Jesuscookies). He already had the base map set for 4X1000cc injectors and his gt35/40. I plan just to run it on my stock 4X550 cc injectors, stock turbo, Walbro 255lph for awhile. He metioned just turning down the mix trim levels but is that doable going from 1000cc to 550's? I won't have to send it back to Aussy land will I? If so how much is that. I wouldn't think it would be that hard to do. Then everything somone changed injectors or turbo they'd be sending it back...one would think it would just be a matter of re-tuning correct? Will I still be able to start my car on its 550's with that map on there? What will I need to do to get it run decently with that map. Also, the unit is new, never installed, will Microtech still warrany this product in my hands now?
