12+ + ign question

ok guys, im almost ready to crank up my MT powered car. i have a quick question. i have a 13bt. and according to the MT wireing diagram. i have 2 pink wires coming out of the ECU. according to the MT diagram these 2 pink wires are supossed to hook up to 5 different places. 1 on the leading coils to the tan wire, 2 to the trailing coils to the 2 tan wires on the coil. one to a 12v switched source, and one to the fuel pump relay. does this mean i have to tee off the 2 pink wires i have with the harness? or what?

thanks
Daniel

you can use any +ign source for the coils, dosent have to be off the pink wire for the ecu, use the pink wire for fuel pump and the other to a +ign source,

thanks dale.

for people haveing the same problems, you can leave the pink wires on the stock tan wires for the coils that it says to replace with the pink wires from the ECU. as the tans on the coils are already +ign source, whatever you do. dont run a +ign source from somewhere inside the dash of the car. as most of the stuff under dash ie. radio and AC turns off when you go to start the car. therefore your MT will shut off too while your trying to start car. i found this out very quickley. but on a lighter note. my car now runs with the MT, and very well i might add.... i might just get to drive it tommrow....
