It's not because you have fire at plug or timing light flask all coil is right.
Try with this king of tool and make sure you have about 40Kv. I thing KD tool make this. |
Which kind of modefications you have in your car?
i have a walboro, didnt help any.
i just installed a reman FD alt, so voltage is good now. (old one just died) most engine mods: large street port hybrid turbo (aroun bnr 3 style, with journal bearing) 3" exhaust greddy front mount bosch coils (the ones that come wit lt12) i recently replaced my plug wires to 8mm. this seemed to GREATLY help fix the problem. problem is that theyre MSD brand, so ill be looking for new ones in the near future :) |
So is the problem fixed? Or is it reduced?
fixed. although some even thicker plug wires would make me a lot happier.
what was the problem?
?
no one mentioned plug heat ranges either. be sure to up the spark plug heat ranges as you produce more power, the stock BUR7EQ plugs aren't good for anything but slightly above stock power levels.
