ok i replace the powersteering control unit so thats ok but i began to notice that some reason all my dash lights stay on while the car is still running and there is like this weird ticking electrical noise coming from the CPU. I already swap the CPU already still have the same problem?

4-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of the power steering microcomputer:
The buzzer sounds 4 and repeats when there are circuit troubles other than with the micro computer.
5-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of steering sensor signal: Steering sensor is mis-aligned or failed or steering wheel has been improperly installed.

what is door ajar beep?I car has the five beep because on the forum it lists:
Probably the power steering computer telling you there is a problem with the system. The number of beeps before pausing will indicate the problem.
1-beep, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of speed sensor signal:
In case broken wires or short circuits occur to sensors or harnesses, the buzzer sounds 60-seconds after the engine speed signal of 2200 rpm continues for 18-seconds.
2-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of engine speed signal:
The buzzer sounds twice and repeats when the vehicle speed signal is missing input and/or no engine speed signal is found (short circuit, broken wire, etc.)
3-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of stepping motor signal:
The buzzer sounds when there are broken wires or short circuits in coils or harnesses.

i dont know about the security thing. well the car is still throwing the beeping codes. I fix the steering angle sensor so now the signals works and unclicks itself. But still having the beeping sound going? you think my powersteering control unit might be fried that is why the beeping keeps going off.

well i check it and the wire is plug in correct and install correct. Some reason the ring always go off track. The 5 beep sound is driving me crazy. Is there anyone to kill the beep sound. Because After I line up the ring to the tracker it is fine after i drive the car for 5mins than it goes off track again.

im pretty sure its the steering wheel. I never had the problem until I took my oem steering wheel out. As on the forum the 5 beeps is the steering angle sensor. I just install a new sensor so well see what happens than if that doesnt fix the issue I may need a new sensor.

oh ok well yeah i decided to just run the powersteering since its to much of a haso. but yeah i been having another issue with the 5 beeping sound cause by powersteering angle sensor, even after I replace the angle sensor the thing always go off track for some reason. It happen due to putting a aftermarket steering wheel on my car. As I dont know how tight are you suppose to tighten the nut on the wheel? When I tighten it real tight the sensor breaks and when I dont the nut goes loose.

what do you lock up? well all i did was took off the powersteering belt and just drove the car like that, no beep sound or anything. I read on the forum that you can just remove the control unit and its should be fine if you plan to remove the pump. because i always been having powersteering failure, it always leaks after replace a new pump and the gear boot
