    hey thanx for the info. did you rebuild your motor based off it? also does the video go into the specs and clearance and stuff?

    I gradually sanded them down with finer and finer grits. Then used alcohol to clean the sanded surface. After that, all that was left was to tape them off using painters tape, followed by 2 coats of gloss black and 3 coats of clear. They still look the same over a year later. It was real easy and only cost me about 8 dollars to do.
