    Hey Ed ,
Glad to hear back from you , I'll admit I was somewhat concerned ... wasn't sure if there was a life event of some sort that took precedence and kept you from the MAZDA scene . Glad to hear the RX is proving to be a handful , and you wanted to go 20B initially!
No shop yet but getting closer . My girlfriend Jenn and I have been house shopping and actually put an offer on a house in Courtenay but alas , was rejected . I too am itching to get my hands dirty and do some building again , so don't do anything with those
engines yet . I don't know if you have my cell # ... 250-895-0312 and yes I am still in the same condo for the short term . All Japanese Meet is on for Victoria ..... don't forget .

    Cheers , Ron .

good luck with the project. If you are still looking for twin dizzy parts I have a complete original block that was a good runner until one of the apex seals seized after prolonged storage. I also have a disassembled twin dizzy block that was bridge ported and dyno'd at 240 hp. It was very abused but was going to be used as a template including the notched rotor housings etc.

I've given up on the twin dizzy build.

Hey Ed, Thanks for the reply. I was lucky enough to get a set of NOS plates and rotors for a good price. They had been in storage for a while and some of the boxes had gotten wet. The center iron had a little surface rust and I will need to give it a clean up before I can tell if it will be usable - The other two and the rotors are perfect - Fingers crossed! - I was going for a period correct BP but there is really not a lot of room to get the full benefit of a bridge without notching the rotor housing which I will not be doing for this project. This car is not going to be a daily driver but more of a toy for when the sun is shining. Giving the above this engine will likely be street ported. I think I can open the port about 5mmon the early side which will give a very small overlap on the exhaust.

    Hey there,

Our mutual friend Ron suggest I get hold of you in the hope you may have some usable 12a twin dist plates. Mine have been found to be 2 thou out of spec and so I am trying to get hold of a set so I can finally get this engine back together. Let me know. Cheers

    Edsrx3,
I found your post regarding an engine test stand. I've been contemplating expanding our product line to rotary engines. We currently do aircooled porsche and VW engines. Please check out our website www.zalexindustries.com or call me. I would like to get some measurements and understand the different generations of rotary powered engines.
    Thanks,
