I am new to drag racing but loved it.

I did my first event with a 450bhp engine Fd and did a 12.5 with 120mph and 62ft @ 2.33

My setup was not for the strip as it was my first run. I had D2 coilovers set to soft and track day tyres Toyo R888

Regarding tyres I was thinking either MT ET STREET 26/10.5/16 or ET STREET radials 275/40/17

MY tranny is box standard with only a HKS twin plate

Please give some advice also regarding suspension because I think the D2 was TOO hard even at the soft setting. Can I use OEM dumpers and springs.

Nothing too expensive...Its only a hobby but I might as well do it right. What about some aftermarket dumper eith eibach springs

hey Ernie have you had any problem with cracking the rear plate by the dowel ? i am being told its because mine has ran lean at the track it did fine on the dyno but under the stress at the track they tell me thats its ran lean have you ever cracked the back plate yet ?

hey man, I'm Bryan. My friend James met your friend Doug at ITT Tech the other. He said you have a really sick FD. I myself have an FC Turbo II. Its in pretty bad shape but I am looking for some advice on what do to/ if its worth it to restore. I am a noob to this whole thing so any help is appreciated. Thanks make take it easy.
