I finally noticed your like about the RB Y -pipe corrosion, I received my replacement pipe and noticed that it is all mild steel with a thin chrome finish.

So, I plan on cleaning all the welds with a wire brush and acetone before spraying hi-temp exhaust primer and paint on the entire pipe.

Hopefully this will slow down the corrosion of the welds. Making the pipe last for much longer than the last one!

Probably will need to remove and refinish the pipe every decade or so.

i hear yeah man... i've done a couple touge run, nothing too crazy though, you live in oxnard area right. We have a couple car meets here in town that my buddies run. We usually meet up on friday nights, and usually a lot of my buddies go on drives, i'm the only guy that owns a rotary. It'd be sweet to get another person to represent.
