    Hello W=A,
I am putting an Edelbrock 500 AVS2 on my 1985 12A w/RB Holley Intake manifold (this weekend, hopefully). I read in several threads where you recommended the Eddy 500's, and I wanted to ask a few questions before I mount it.

*The carb comes stock with .095 Jets (Primary and Secondaries) and .070 x .052 metering rods, and the orange spring. In your experience are these calibrations in the ball park?

*I ordered a 4 hole, 1" phenolic spacer. Any benefit to opening it between the primary bores?

*The RB manifold leans the carb, forward, making it difficult to get the float level anywhere near to close. Will this be an issue with the Edelbrock's dry float set-up (7/16)?

Thanks for any tips or advice you may have.

    Jamey

There is currently a "new" RB strut brace on ebay with a starting bid of $299. Don't know if you're still interested, but it's there!

Because I don't have the harness or computer to run fuel injection. Much simpler without all the wires and pile of vaccums.
