I recently finished this OEM + restoration build during the spring of this year, 2025.  I have owned this FD since 2009, purchased from another member on this forum.

Over the last year, I went through the car mechanically and changed, rebuilt, or replaced just about everything. If a nut or bolt had too much surface rust, I would replace that as well with the proper Mazda or JIS 10.9 zinc plated hardware. Every o-ring or crush washer possible was replaced during the reassembly process.

The bad? All cosmetic, all pictured

A few small door dings on the passenger door

A few small scratches on the front bumper

A very small section of clear coat issue on the passenger fender next to the headlight cover

A small imperfection on the driver side door.  Might come out with a paint correction / buffing

Gas filler door plastic hinge cracked and now epoxied
