After owning this gem for 20 years, I’ve decided it’s time to sell my pride and joy toy. This Mazda RX-7 is a 93’ R1 model repainted in 2019 in its original red. I and my staff at Racers Edge Motorsports have meticulously maintained and tastefully updated the car over the last 20 years with no expense spared. It still maintains the rotary twin turbo as it was intended, but with nice performance and reliability upgrades. The engine and turbo unit were rebuilt and blueprinted by Pettit Racing with some additional performance upgrades installed. Later, the transmission was rebuilt and blueprinted also by Pettit Racing, when an upgraded new clutch was also installed. The car runs very strong yet idles smooth and is completely reliable. 
Mechanical/Performance upgrades: • Pettit Racing blow off valve • Pettit Racing Intake Y-pipe • Pettit Racing K&N air intake kit • APEXi Power FC engine control module • Heavy duty fuel pump • Pettit Racing coolant header tank • Heavy duty radiator w/ 180* thermostat • Solid state turbo switching control (works awesome and totally reliable!) • Aluminum alternator pulley • Billet aluminum oil filler cap • Stainless steel, hi temp ceramic coated down pipe • State of the art hi flow dual catalytic converter unit • Tenabe/Revel Touring cat back exhaust so it has a mature sound, not overly loud • Koni yellow struts front and rear • Custom made for me 18” Enkei PF05 wheels with proper offset/width for FD • Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires 245/35 frt, 255/35 rear • Precision alignment with slight neg camber.
Appearance upgrades • Shine Auto project front bumper, installed before the car was repainted • Custom oil cooler ducting to match up with replacement bumper • Hot Water Labs headlight kit • 1999 front parking lights/turn signals • 1999 taillights • Carbon exterior trim bits – window trim front, door handles, radio antenna • Carbon interior trim bits – door sills, door grab handles • Boost pressure gauge • Momo steering wheel/shift **** • RX-7 logo floor mats • Repainted original red in 2019 – a high-quality paint job.
Misc: • All bulbs updated to LED • Never run without Idemitsu pre-lube @ .5 oz/gal • Windshield recently replaced • Radio was replaced in 2004 with radio/CD player • If you want to retrofit, I have most of the original parts from the car • Just serviced w/new brake pads and alignment.
Mileage Info: • Total on car – 110,379 (I bought it with 76,000 on it in 2004) • Speedometer failed and was promptly replaced – odometer now reads 4,682 miles • Engine since rebuilt – 26,988 • Trans and clutch since rebuilt – 4,682
