Description:
I pulled this out of my FD because I am going a different route. I was told it had low compression on the rear housing after he had done some power adding modifications without an update tune. Motor has approx 120k km.
a few suggestions
1. Willing to ship or not, without the AT or not? Because it will cost more to ship with the AT weight on it and more involved in loading/unloading it as well for a pickup, and most people are likely not wanting it.
2. How about some better pics or more details on what is or isn’t included? Because saying it comes with the AT trans then there’s likely an expectation that the starter might be on there too, but that seems not to be the case per a PM you sent me. The bottom line is nobody can see poop with those two not-helpful pictures that are posted. In some instances it seems reasonable to consider if that’s intentional. Posting better pics helps to clarify things better on every level.
3. Are any of the mentioned mods that were done prior to compression going bad either internal or included with the engine? Because if something like iron side plates are damaged beyond reasonable repair, but ported then that is going to impact the repair/rebuild to some extent, etc.
4. Responding promptly to email or private/direct messages ensures interest doesn’t fade …
GLWYS. I might even consider it myself with a better understanding of the notes above.

1. Yes, I'd be willing to separate the transmission. I just have no use for it so I was trying to get everything gone together. Yes I can ship as well if it comes down to it.
2. The starter is still currently attached, but people interested did not seem to want the transmission( I would have changed my posting if things were taken off. It is the engine with all accessories ps pump, ac, turbos, alternator, wiring harness.
3. It does not appear to have been taken apart. The previous owner put downpipe, midpipe, hks filters for the turbos, and hks hi power exhaust. When I purchased the car the spark plugs from the housing were in the undertray, which led me to believe he had done a compression test. I did not receive numbers and I didn't care at that point because I was going to remove the motor anyhow.

thanks for taking the time to update us
for whoever buys the engine, if you intend to use a manual trans I’d like to work out a deal with you for the AT rear iron housing, even if that includes swapping you out to a manual rear iron housing. TIA.
