Looking for driver seat. Condition doesn't matter much as long as it's all there. I'm located in NW. I know the cost of shipping a seat can be be as much as the seat itself so hopefully someone here has a hookup with a shipping company 🤞

Thanks for the offer, but I'm looking for oem driver seat. I realize that I didn't mention that before.

Cheers!

What texture my friend?

Base woven (small checks)

or

Faux velour

Or leather.

I assume you mean LHD drivers (not RHD).

Any material really. The car is LHD. My plan is to get them reupholstered in red. When I got the car it came with a recaro for the driver side (which doesn't fit well and made it harder to close the door) and a stock leather passenger seat which is in rough shape. The stitching is coming apart in some places.

Cheers!

I will see what I have. I suppose you will need a rail to?

Would you be willing to drive up I5 to get it?

Which Recaro is it? An SR series?

I'm definitely willing to drive! Depending on the distance and price for the seat. With how bad gas is right now.

Here's pics of the recaro

I'm trying to sell it on offerup. It's missing the recliner **** and it was bolted to oem rail so I guess I wouldn't need that. But nothing wrong with spare parts if the new seat comes with rails lol
I appreciate you looking! ✌️

I think you should hang onto your oem rail. Most my seats have been derailed for ease of storage.

I might offer to rake that Recaro seat in some sort of trade.

Lets see what I can offer.

I fyou get other offers please don't hold back.

Is there any markings on the Recaro which would show the series number such as "SR" or "SP"?

It looks like an SR, but the shoulder wings are more exaggerated.

Drivers Side (LHD) point of wear is obvious. Missing seat belt guide and recliner lever handle. I may be able to supply these from other stock.

Passenger side: Some wear on door side of seat. Otherwise in very good condition.

No seat rails. (Can be sold separately.)

For pick-up in Richmond, B.C.

I am interested in discussing a trade for your Recaro.

Please provide some more details such as type of Recaro, location of manufacture, and a picture of the current mounting points,

A picture of the Recaro in your car, would be helpful.

I have a considerable store of other used parts.

Perhaps make a list and make your trip to BC even more worthwhile.

It is an SRD! KEIPER RECARO GmbH REMSCHEID KBA 90 383 Modular L SeriesCould not locate any other stickers or stamps which is kinda weirdDefinitely not in greatest condition. Missing a couple things.

It's not sitting exactly where it would because I took the FD rails off so it's sitting a tad lower here.

Your seats are looking pretty good! I would be willing to do some sort of trade if you were still interested in the recaro. And I would love to see what else you have!

I've never been across the border up north there. Always have wanted to! It's honestly not as far as I thought, but gas sucks right now unfortunately I don't have a current passport. Is there another way to get thru without one?

Thanks for posting up. What are the words that are cut off to the left of this picture. They usually would say where the seat was made (hopefully Germany) The SRD is a bit of a tough fit in an FD (poor door card). The gerry-rigged mounting is a bit scary. But there should be a bride rail that would work (more safely).

I'd offer a trade straight up. My two for your one (Recaro).

Rails and missing seat bits extra.

I am not sure you need a passport, maybe just a drivers license. But you best check.

think the deal is you need proof of two vaccinations and a covid test done within three days.

I just did a swap of about $1000 of parts with a fellow from Washington. He told customs all the parts he was carrying were for a one:one swap (which was true) and they let him through. In any event, you may have to declare the parts. Under NAFTA duties on used car parts are very (very) low. We can split. A copy of this exchange may be sufficient to set a dollar value for customs. (Say US$600/ C$700).

Covid related restrictions might be lifted soon.

Before coming, list as many of the parts you need, and I can let you know if I have any.

Used parts are getting very expensive, especially for LHD.

(Hint: Don't discard any of your LHD pieces, no matter how bad condition they look.)
A list will help you prioritize your purchases and help you spot when bargain pieces arise.

Seems your seat and mine have something in common.
