A friend of mine came down for two weeks with his EVO VIII and we had a chance to have a little fun. We raced a couple times, two first gear rolls and from a stop. His evo was a stock Evo VIII with only a mail-in reflash. From the 1st gear rolls it was a gradual pull that ended up in me winning by two car lengths by the end of 3rd gear. When we went from a stop, i spun bad and he burnt the clutch, but I pulled 3 cars gradually. All in all I was very suprised with the Evo VIII. I expected to pull more.

I also have a boost leak on the secondary turbo.

The Evo also raced an EVO IX MR and pulled 1 car from a 2nd and1st gear roll.
