Talking

WOW. I got flamed. Seems like Dial8 said it right. I sorry that i did my first reckless act in my car, but dont even think for a second that all you flamers have never done that. I JUST GOT MY CAR!! Jesus the nerve of you people, its like going to a bar taking a drink of a beer and then all the people in the bar start yelling at you cuz your like "the next drunk". WTF? My apologies for telling a story, but as i expressed in it i said it is not smart to street race/drift AT ALL! So because it made you feel better about saying inadequately horrid remarks, i guess you can sleep tonight knowing that you"PWNED a NEWB". Sorry for taking up space but maybe you guys can grow a fuckling conscience and say nice things.

It's not about "pwnd a n00b", it's about reckless driving. I'm a n00b to these forums, which for what it's worth... who gives a **** what people on an internet vBulletin think. All that aside, it's about being a responsible individual/driver/member of this community.

I don't know you, but I don't want you to die or WORSE; kill an innocent individual because you wanted to be cool in teh 7. Here's an outline of what I think went wrong in your post IMHO:

1. Your story sounds like it was from a comic book. No biggee, a lot of teenagers dream of stuff like that. Which leads me to

2. I'm 24 and have been around the block a lot. I'm married now and successful. Our guys (the older guys and/or mature audience) tend not to think about your 'sweet sideways line' thru the turn, but about the innocent people that could be hurt by your race-track driving. I said what I said half-heartedly, but if it were reality, you had better believe I'd be 100% willing to kill.

3. Regardless of the opinions of "7 is exotic and rare" to "7 is a POS turd" to "7 is now the new Civic/240SX", this community generally prides itself on being "above" ricer standards. Whether that is true; I have evidence to argue both. Your post was exactly what a lot of 7 drivers try to not be. A typical "kid" out doing stupid stuff in their car.

4. No matter how big a bunch off ******** this community can be (I'm a big one, ask my wife), nobody wants to see senseless death. Did you see the thread with the fatal crash in Canada involving an FD? It's still sad. Nobody knows what happened, but I bet that owner was NOT driving in a manner which lends itself to safety. Look at Nick Hogan; a Fail POS.

Dude, just pay the track fees. Whether it be "Drifting" or "Grip Driving/Racing"; it's best left to a sanctioned place. Don't be that guy with a Civic hatch drifting (aka donuts) at the strip mall. It's just not cool. Be safe!

Actaully I was just ******* around, I drank too much tea this morning. Archie said it best. Yeah I know everyone on here including RETed, Ice Mark, Valkerie and all the other great posters have done some dumb stuff. I like driving in mountains, and don't care what people say about. But then I stay in my lane, don't drift('cause I think drifting is ), and I go to have fun and enjoy the car. All that goofy **** you did no matter how much I don't like it belongs on the track not a public road. It doesn't matter if you don't advocate street racing, you still fucked around and expected us to pat you on the back. Mahzdah, no hard feelings, but next time look before you leap. Things like this have happened many times before, and a quick glance at last weeks posts would have revealed it.

But it could have been worse, you could have ended up like this guy

Thanks bro. Seems like everything I touch these days turns into a fiasco.

On the bright side, Rich called tonight and it looks like they are just about done.

And no, all of us don't drive like idiots when we first bought our cars, some of us take some time to learn how the car drives and reacts.

Are you pushing 19 PSI on your stick twins yet? you haven't really lived until you've blown your engine and turbos at the same time

you my friend, are a complete idiot. get a life you sound like the grinch who stole christmas, if someone wants to tell their story you have no right to come raining in like some forum god blessed with the ability to make people sound like complete idiots. given that drifting on a public street isnt safe, you still have no right to be a dumb *******. get over it. are you gonna go around finding crack heads and telling them that its not respectable in any sense of a word? because you would be spending your time more wisely telling people not to do crack.

"Occupation:

Figures.
PLUS i hope you guys know, that yelling at people on a forum isnt going to do a absolute god damned thing, people are going to drift and do stupid **** regardless of what you say on a forum, GIVEN THE FACT THAT ITS THE INTERNET. your all just wasting your time. go become a cop and save the world if thats your intention, but its a car forum, people are going to talk about car things I.E. DRIFTING, STREET RACING etc etc the list goes on. if your gonna sit here and flame us "newbs" then go make a forum to do that, if were that new to the community you should be helping us instead of yelling and making new people feel un-welcome in the community.

Given the fact that I haven't "yelled" at all, whereas you've yelled quite a bit completely shows your lack of competence.

Additionally, I have as much right to tell him he's a ******* retard as he has to post about being a jackass on public roads. Freedom is a 2-way street.
