1st Gen Kills 350Z!! **on VIDEO**
 

I had recently installed my Autometer Cobalt gauges, and was cruising around
town at night. I was recording them with my camera, to see how they look
on film at night without the "nightshot". They look pretty good BTW. When
I change my instrument cluster to the reverse indiglow, it will have a real
nice effect.

Anyway,

Without warning, a 350Z pulls up besides me, and the driver gives me
a "you're not worthy" glance.

I am only running 12PSI on this warm and humid Miami night, but this guy
obviouly doesn't know the big "Dirk Diggler" I have under the hood of my
stock looking GSL-SE.

There's a little more traffic than I would like, so I didn't think we would have much
of a chance to play, but we made do. I remembered to turn on the camera too.

Let's just say it was fun.
I should've switched to high-boost to make it REALLY embarrasing for him.
As it is, I was accused of Cheating..

I'll let the video speak for the rest of the scenario.

The video is not 56K friendly, and is a little over 80 megs - but it IS in
high-quality video, in 16:9 widescreen format. Put up the volume
too, it came out pretty good.

As soon as Vosko gives me the link, I'll post it.

Car looks great inside/outside. I did wonder though what the yellow light on the dash was that kept coming on/going off. I don't remember if the FB has an upshift light or not, but that is what it looked like.

Thats great...everytime I see your car it makes me wish I had the guts to turbo my old 1st gen instead of selling it and buying a turbo 2nd gen. Great video...keep up the good work.

a stock 350 doesnt have turbo's, its an n/a, if it has TT's on it then i doubt the FD will take it, unless its one hell of an FD

By the way people - 12PSI is "quick", not "FAST".
Even with that low boost, I came from behind and passed
a high 13/low 14 second car like nothing.

At 17PSI, my car is a completley different animal, and
is hard to keep in a straight line.

12PSI is about 315 to the wheels
17 PSI = close to 400 = Go after Vettes and Cobras
20 PSI = Look out Porsche Turbos..:D

Direct from Greddy's magazine ads----trap speeds increase from 101.89 mph to 106.53 mph.

I am just a tad underwhelmed. You do realize that to get an FD to trap 106 is not exactly difficult, right?
