Good luck. They've been making a wide body since June, and I've been waiting for a hood since Sept. Apparently there is one guy in a basement making them piece by piece with a hammer and screwdriver. Maybe because this is one piece of cf you'll get it quicker than 6 months. I will certainly never buy anything from them again though.

As for the hood, we apologize for the delay. Again, one thing every buyer needs to understand is delays do occur sometimes, specially during holiday seasons. Also, we do not own or operate any part of the production facility so we really don't have that much control over their production schedules. The production facility works with many other vendors as well so our projects are not always the top priority. The entire AD-GT project did take a while to finish because the production facility ran into many delays caused by mold production and modifications. First of all, more than 12 different molds had to be produced and then modified again based on the fitment feedbacks given by two customers who test fitted the sample kits for us. And the widebody and front bumper production took the majority of the time involved in this project. When we moved onto the hood, a sample unit was produced first using a mold based on the original RE-A hood but then they realized that the original RE-A unit has slightly wavy surface finish and result in our sample unit to have the same problem. And they had to fine sand the hood then make another mold. All these work and effort take time. We also want to minimize the delay if possible but the truth is we want a good quality product more than a shorter turnaround time. To be very honest, with the current number of orders we receive on the entire AD-GT project, we did not break even on the investment yet. We are doing all these to provide a great product to those who really like these parts so we hope that our customers can appreciate our efforts.

Quick question..... How do you mount these on? It will be ugly to just screw them on... how do people usually install these?
and these aren't just for looks are they? Do they really prevent the bumper from melting or turning black or watever from the exhaust?

Some people actually add some rivets on in addition to the double sided tapes since they like the riveted look but it will be up to you. If you like a clean look, double sided tape alone is fine.
They work very well on preventing the rear bumper corner from being heat damaged by the exhaust. The clear coat on the CF guards is heat resistant.
