Owner of a 71,000 mile stock 87 Turbo II
Bought a clean FC a few months ago. I've fixed a lot of its issues and I'm looking to get help with some others. Also looking to buy and sell some parts.

Its beautiful!!! I wouldn't change a thing. Not many left in original condition. The rear wheels are on the wrong side however. They are stamped which side they go on for reference. Though when the repaint was done it appears as if they forgot the TURBOII decals on each fender. Do you know any history on the car? Would love to see more pics!!

This picture was before I bought the car. Putting the wheels on correctly was one of the first things I did correctly.
The previous owner was the 2nd owner of the car and had it since he was 17 in around 1999/1998, so nearly 20 years. I still have the original documentation from when he first registered it in his name. He used to do paint and body around then and painted it himself. It is red with gold pearl and it really sparkles and shines when it hits the sun. It's a really interesting combination. It has a couple of blemishes here and there but has held up really well for 20 years. He never wet sanded or buffed it, so this picture goes to show how good of a job he did. When I get around to buffing it, it will really wake it up.
It has a couple of rust issues, but I think I can fix it. I didn't notice this until after I bought the car. This was my fault as this was one of the things I admittedly didn't think to check for. Lesson learned on that one.
This is the main reason why the guy sold the car. He was changing the oil and left it in first gear without the e-brake on. Started the car up, popped the clutch and the car hit his house. He said he couldn't stand to see it like this and couldn't devote the time to fixing it, so he had to let it go. I'm going to eventually try to find another bumper and see if I can take it somewhere for them to scan the paint and match it. There are virtually no dents or dings on the car. The passenger fender has some rust at the bottom and the fender has started flaking apart there. If I can find someone who can match the paint, I will replace the fender and paint it, too. Not really in a rush, as these issues don't bother me much.

That things looks to be in good shape. I went to school for autobody repair and painting custom colors I hate doing because if anything happens, it is a bit-- to match if you do not have the paint code or the mix ratios.

Yeah, reds and pearls are pretty hard to match. Unfortunately, this is both. Lol.
I installed some S5 tail lights today because the driver side light was hit. Looks like someone backed into it with their tailgate down. I like the look a lot more. I will get pictures tomorrow because it's dark out now.
