Hey everyone! I just traded my truck for a 1987 rx7. I dont know much about these cars! I just know that my engine is still original, iv got 3.5 inch exhaust, some sort of body kit that has been fiberglasses on, 5 speed manual, short shifter..

Other than that i dont know anything about it hahah! Iv always owned 5.0L mustangs so this car is totally something new for me! But i was looking for a new project and its time to learn about rx7s! You guys will probably be seeing alot of my posts asking tech questions ect!

Whoa thats some major body work done to that car. Molded in bumpers, spoiler, side skirts, and filled in trim. Congrats on your purchase! Make sure you're not getting fuel cut (or have the appropriate mods to compensate for the 3.5 inch exhaust). You have a lot of reading to do. Check out the FAQ in the 2nd gen technical section.

Thanks for the advice and quick response! Ill have to read up on fuel cut! This thing is loud as hell! My dad is already complaining and i just got it!
