Alright a little update for those who care.. I just placed a deposit on an even more perfect FD!
The car was built in Japan by Re-Amemiya themselves undergoing a fresh motor rebuild and sporting a full Re-Amemiya body kit, new coilovers, and a Power FC ECU. The car was tuned in Texas by renowned RX-7 tuner Nelson Siberio and is making a conservative 260hp on 93 octane. Once the motor is properly broken in, I plan to make slightly more power to the wheels (300-350hp is my goal).
This car is pretty low mileage with the chassis having roughly 58,000 miles on it and the rebuilt motor having just over 250 miles. I love many things about this car, but I am particularly stoked about the color combo being yellow with a black/carbon fiber accent (Original color of the car was CYM but was repainted to Sunburst Yellow - optional color only for the late production FDs). I am currently rebranding my website (importr.com) to a white, yellow, and black color scheme so this example will end up making a wonderful promo car in addition to being my weekend warrior.
