Hey everyone. New to the scene. Just picked up 97 jdm type r. Clean untouched, has a couple goodies wheels and strut bar. Also has a turbo timer which is not hooked up. Pretty decent for 70k miles. Definitely will need some help and advise from you guys

Nice looking car. Make sure you are aware the coil position was changed for 1996 and newer FD.

Hooking up the coil harness or plug wires in the wrong order can cause serious damage to the motor.

Most US mechanics, and many Japanese, are not aware, resulting in unfortunate engine failures.

Anytime anyone touches your plugs and coils, make sure you check. It is very easy to make the mistake.
