Hey welcome to the club! Keep looking, I'm sure there are some people from near you.

On a side note, use the edit post button so you dont have to post 3 seperate posts. It really bugs some people, although Im not one of them lol

Yeah plenty of people in Mass. I would say though for the most part we work on our cars ourselves, not many good rotary shops around. Not to say some shops won't build it, but I wouldn't trust they know what they are doing. Stop by the New England forum, you can meet some people there.

thanks for the tip on the edit post. preciated

I would love to work on rotory myself. I worked on piston engine but when it comes to rotory I have no idea. where are you about?

welcome to the club. im going to school in Amherst right now, which is less then a half hour from springfield. if you want to meet some local people you should check this out Kancamagus Rotary Run

good luck with your car and maybe ill see you around.

Look into Synaptic3 in Candia, NH and KDR in New Tripoli, PA. both worth the trip if you need help.

If you wanna learn more about the rotary, the wikipedia page is always good. Also this forum is filled with tons of information on just about anything. And if you cant find an answer, just make a topic and ask!

ChrisSRT4 04-09-09 09:16 PM

I have family in Springfield, but I am not there.

willub and company 04-10-09 03:50 PM

Yeah if you have general mechanical knowledge you can work on a rotary. Just read around in the technical forums and dive right in. start with small things until you know your way around the engine bay.

I'm right outside of worcester. I don't think there are too many of us out in western Ma.

and BTW, shop in Salem has been out of business for a while.
