hello everyone my name is joel . I've been so luck so have the privilege to purchase my 83 rx7, from a collector that owns 19 rx7s. I met him in a bbq, and we spoke about cars. To jump right to it, at first there was no way he was going to sell me anything. but as the night became reality and the beer kept coming left and right , we hit it of and he gave me an appotunity to purchase one of many rx7s that he owns, but he chose for me, which at this point I didn't care which 1 he was willing to let go. So I ended up with my new project 83 gls with the carburetor shot and a whole lot of body work , but im willing to take this task to the highest level if need be . Im 41 yrs old im puerto rican 🇵🇷 (wepa) i have 2 kids and a loving wife, and a passion for cars .

hello everyone , it joel again . About the car ,the car is a gold or wet sand looking color. its not currently running i removed the carburetor to clean it . originally beige leather seats, i dont remember the miles, it was purchased from a person in penn state university. Doors have rust, quarter panel has rust, Hood has rust . A new gas tank was installed by the person I purchased it from . No leaks whats so ever from what I could see. I'll post pictures.

Welcome to the forums. Is the guy with 19 Rx-7's a member here? They should be. You should be able to find a Nikki carb and other parts in the classified section here. Parts are becoming more scarce but not impossible to find.

 

hi banzai, I will ask my friend if he's in this club , I'm not sure .and also I'll check the classifieds to see if anyone has a carb.
