Smile New on the board :)

Hello ladies & gents,

I just registered on this forum which seems to be a bible regarding our RX-7!

My car is a 95' JDM FD that was imported in France by a good friend of mine. It's actually my second FD but this time I hope it to be a forever car!
It has many modifications but a concise summary would be the following:
- ~350hp single turbo
- Ohlins R&T
- Square 255/40/17 Toyo R888
- Stock calipers with Project Mu pads & RBF600
- 1.5° camber front & 1° rear
- BBS RS2

Here's a pic from this weekend trackday:

If you want to have a look at the video, it's here
:

Strangely, I cannot yet modify my avatar so I just put a default one.

Anyway, thanks for letting me in guys, and see you around.

Kieran

Good to hear from someone in France. Very few cars were originally sold in France. They were well equipped and Mazda put black rear mudflaps on them for France for some reason.

Post up some of your adventures here:

Welcome to the forum! From the picture that you posted, your FD looks really nice!! You should be able to edit your avatar and if not, let me know and I can take a look at your settings in your profile and get your avatar updated.

And yes, it's pretty rare around here, but I guess it is everywhere now. Fun fact, I could have owned an LHD for the first one I bought, but the car smelled the need for a rebuild so I passed. 10y later, and if I had bought it, this thing would have been even rarer Now, I don't get why they added mudflaps we probably have the best roads in Europe. I'll post some news on the thread you sent!

Anyway, I'm still waiting for my friend to paint the 99 spec bumper, stock side mirrors and 99' spec rear wing with an Odula blade, I'll post a few pics when it's on.

ps: I managed to set up the avatar now, thanks for allowing it

Hello,

I'm here to post some news on the car, just got this 99 spec bumper fitted. I still have to get the front lip though but it's already looking cute with the old bumper one 🥰

I also added a new Pioneer unit and deported my e-turbosmart and AEM where my glove box was 😁

And lastly, my last track day vidéo, it was a lot of fun, what a car...

It's the Race Chrono Pro app, measuring my lap times, section per section, speed and so on. Great app.
