New ‘93 FD owner

Hey everyone, just managed to pick up a ‘93 FD for what I think was a steal. Was told the car hasn’t really ran consistently in about 10 years, but has at least been stored inside a shop most of the time.

Learned a lot just from lurking the last week or so, but can’t wait to share what is hopefully a successful resurrection project! Body and frame appear to be in very decent condition, but unfortunately inside is kind of rough.

Goals with car are to clean it up, get the inside as stock and clean as possible, and just make an overall cool street car that may see the occasional HPDE event at VIR. No insane power goals here as I have other cars/bikes that already fit the bill.

How I found her.

Cleaned up fairly decent.

Missing driver door panel is a bummer

Battery relocation to trunk gone wrong

@bedicine Thanks! Wanted one for ages, and knew the guy I bought it from, and that he never drove it. After bugging him a bit he finally decided to let it go.
