Well it's been quite awhile and I've decided I'd better do an intro.
It all started with a reasonable rusty 83 that I was given. At some point I fell into an 84 GSL-SE that I purchased as a parts car but found that it had fewer problems than the 83 so sold the 83 and no am trying my best to get this SE restored.
So far I have replaced both rear-wheel-well forward halves. The SE has retained most of it's original paintand is still stock!! I am totally enjoying the trip.
