Help!

Hi, I've just joined. I've got two RX7's '88 and 89. Been parked up for years. One, I had from new and had a brand new engine before being parked up and a new stainless steel exhaust system. The second car was bought as a donor when I was thinking about a rebuild, but life got in the way. They both have the usual rust issues from years of stand

This is the one with new engine and exhaust system

This is the donor car
ing. Planning to move so they have to go. What's the best way to sell them. Spares or repair. I have no idea. Please help. Thank you in advance.

Sounds like you just need em gone. If you look at some of the various Rotary Face Book pages, you will see there are guys who buy up cars like these to part them out. Not a very happy ending for a vehicle you may have an attachment to, but the chances of finding some one who is motivated to bring the car back like you wanted, is a lot less. There is a classified section here and you can always post a For Sale ad.

Chances are, these would make more sense to sell as donor cars. The price of restoration can quickly put you up side down and underwater compared to what the car is worth when finished. Most restorations are labors of love, not financial sense.

I'm sure someone in Wales or the UK might want them.

Yes, sorry. Just checked the logs..... they're '88 and '89. I knew they were consecutive!! I bought my original brand new in '89 and the donor is '88. ('86 is the year I got married!!).
 It's a long time ago now!!🙄
Thank you for pointing it out, apologies for the mistake.
