SC Hello, just got my first RX7

Hello my name is Mat from South Carolina.

So happy I was on vacation this week. Found a 1996 right hand drive RX7 and picked it up. Seller was selling for his grandson who passed recently. He didn't know what was wrong with it. When I got there I tried to start it, nothing happened. So I checked around, main fuse was blown. Replaced it, now it turns over smoothly but won't catch. Any ideas? I'm a complete RX7 noob, but not a car noob. I just got finished build a 1.6 motor for a Miata. Rods, pistons, valve job, clutch/flywheel, turbo. Getting ready to drop the motor in this week.

Also if this car was running, how much would it be worth? It has a little over 100k on it.

Thanks for any help!!

your car is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it.(if you need to ask then you need to research the info as it is not found in the INTRO section..sorry.)

So far...

Checked all fuel relays, good.
Checked spark, good.
Pulled feed line to fuel rail, whiskey came out.

Pulled fuel filter, same crap. Bought a miata filter cause, well, they are the same thing.
Pulled fuel pump assembly, found more crap.

Drained fuel tank, same crap.

Looked inside fuel tank, same crap.

So now I'm on my way out to get some berryman b12 gallons, some brillo pads, and some fresh gas.
