Hello Everyone
Hello,
I am a new RX7 FC3S owner. I purchased the car for my son. He will me driving soon and we have both liked the RX7s. Without even looking under the hood,I purchased this car for $300 last summer. It did not run. The wiring harness had been melted in places and a lot of it seemed to be missing. After some tinkering, I got the engine to turn over. There were no spark or injector signals. Finally got the engine to fire up, and it ran for about 2 seconds before locking up. After weighing cost and options, I decided to gut the engine bay and start from scratch. Rebuild the engine and wiring harness. I am an industrial electro/mechanical tech by trade and decided to tackle this project. Started this project in March and now have a nicely running engine. I have come to this forum many times to seek advice and just read the many comments, for which https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...b087911c75.jpg which I am very grateful. I hope I might add to the forum some experience that I have gained through this build. Regards, |
Welcome to the forum and great work sticking withbit and getting the car running again!!! You rarely see an 88 GXL in Brilliant Black! That's a good find. Do you know any of the car's history? I would love to see more pictures of the car!
