I'm Diwan. I joined this forum because I have been drafting a reengineered version of the rotary engine. I'm no specialist by any means, but I have a concept, draft and dream. My goal/desire is to challenge the Nissan R series (Godzilla) with a Mazda Rx9 concept car. Why? Because I admire both brands and would love to see the return of the Mazda Rx series. Preferably in Le Mans.


Who says Rotary can't challenge Godzilla?


I would love to discuss Rotary engines with all of you and the 3 major challenges it's faced thus far(to the best of my knowledge). ie: fuel economy, oil consumption and emissions control.


until a proper patent is in place, I will limit how much I share about the specific project. But, I will start a forum post to help keep everyone updated.

Update:

I have received replies from Roush and Mazda so far, inquiring into more details about my project. Setting a meeting with an intellectual property attorney and bringing both companies up to speed on my projects current status.

I'm not sure if it's appropriate or not at the moment, but, im wondering if I should upload pictures as I go forward?
