Exclamation Hello

I am trying to figure out how to use this site. I need to ask some questions in regards to my FD and idle problems. Help please. I can't seem to figure it out. 93 Rx7 base TT, efini Y pipe, down pipe, mid pipe, thermal research exhaust, and Apex FC w/commander. I cant seem to figure out problems with the idle below 2000 rpms, boost guage shows about -10 psi at about 980-1000 rpms if I turn air on at idle it wants to die. I put the mid pipe on and after about two hours of around town driving, this happened. I have tried the water and carb cleaner to locate a vacuumm leak with no luck. I have since replaced cat to try to reverse the problem and no luck there either.

i know

i know ive tried to hunt one down and cant seem to find one the old fashion way with carb cleaner or water. I dont get it i mean the idle really sucks but gets smoth after 1500-2000 rpms. Im very frustrated with it and it seems a lil slower than normal as well. i dont have a compression checker but did pull one plug out of each rotor and and turned it over and three good puffs out of each.

blown motor

well after to many painful experiments trying to hunt down a vaccuum leak it turned out to be a blown motor. Once I did the compression check I felt like an Idiot for not starting with that in the first place oh well live and learn Rotory for life. It was 90lbs of the front rotor and and like 25lbs on the rear. anyway I rebuilt the motor myself in my garage and did some port work as well. I just ripped it the other night holly **** that bicth came alive I can bearly plant it in 2nd gear now it just roasts the tires. Lots of fun to be had see you guys next year at seven stock.
