Welcome! V8 RX-7's are in fact allowed here. We have a sub section for non rotary powered 7's as well.

Absolutely! We may not love the swap but we recognize that it's common and we understand why people do it. At the end of the day, its still an RX-7.

There's honestly nothing like a rotary powered 7. Sure the V8 is fast, but not all 7's were about speed. I absolutely love the look and feel of a 1st Gen, SA/FB. So pure, easy to work on, and a blast to drive. The car is a sensational classic that can still be daily driven today if maintained properly.. The FC was also a great car. The chassis was much improved with excellent road feel and cornering capabilities, power was up, especially in the turbo models, and the driving experience was more of a GT than a pure sports car. An overall excellent car. The FD was the best of all generations in terms of power, speed, and handling. Just an incredible car overall.

With the rotary engine, the car is balanced and the sounds from the exhaust are nothing short of the sound of a band saw through fiberglass. They provide a very rewarding driving experience in my opinion.
