My name is Walt Wible and I live in Huntsville, Alabama. I bought a 1987 base model in 1990 and drove it for 17 1/2 years before I pulled out in front of an oncoming car and totaled it I now own and drive 1990 RX-7 convertible I used to hang out and post on this forum but have been away for some time.

I did most of my own work on the '87 but have recently had fairly serious back surgery and am limited in what I can do. At one point, there was a web site with Mazda Factory RX-7 Manuals. Is that web site still up and going?

My '87 used to get 21-23 mpg around town and up to 27 mpg on the road. My '90 is getting 14 mpg around town. Is that normal for a convertible?
