CA Hello!

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Stu, and I'm from the SF Bay Area.

Currently I don't own an RX-7, but I am doing some research so I can buy one. That's one of the primary reasons I'm on this forum. I want to get some input before I purchase one and this seems like a great place to get some solid information!

What generation are you looking for? I checked out the FD in Salinas last weekend. If the seller will take a reasonable offer it may be worth buying as a builder (I was about to make an offer but found something else).

I've been eyeing a '94. It's got 115k on the chassis and 24k on a new motor. It's super clean and I'm in the process of negotiating with the owner. It sits and he doesn't drive it, and I'd be happy to give it a new home. It's Montego Blue. I'll post pics if it goes thru!

Thanks for the heads up tho!

It seems pretty good so far. He took me for a ride in it and it was relatively smooth.

Is it normal for it to "bubble" after running it for a while? Sounded like the coolant was bubbling...
