First rx7
Hey guys. My name is Alan. I just recently bought an 86 fc na that was not running but has a near perfect body for $400. So far I have discovered the issue is a no spark condition. I've already done a good deal of diagnosis work and I'm making progress. My goals for the fc are to autocross in stock class until I get money situated for an engine swap. I'm probably going to use a single turbo 13b. Once the swap is done the car will be used for drifting at traction optional events.
take it easy guys!

Thanks for all the positive input guys. I went to the traction optional drift event yesterday and saw a red s5 turbo out there. It just lit a fire under me to step my game up on my fc!

nice find man, welcome to the community! i have an 88 fc that i pulled from a bone yard back in February of 08. it has been my dd/project for a while. it's currently under the knife getting a new differential and prepping for a 4 port bridge port quad injected itb monster. my autocrosser when she gets back on the road and probably step my game up later to road racing. good luck with the new 7 and if you need any help, feel free to ask. btw, a friend of mine picked up an 87 that the previous owner fought with over a year with no spark, i put in one of my spare ecu's and it fired right up off of gasoline sprayed through the intake. added a new fuel pump and motor runs good.

Congrats on the buy. Good luck with the project.
So true. Before I got mine they had GSL-SEs, Turbo IIs and according to one friend an FD at the junkyards. Now nothing.
