Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new RX-7! That 88 is in incredible condition! The blue cloth seats look very nice. They appear to have been reupholstered in a mix of cloth and leather or vinyl, but the look very nice! Your car was definitely loaded when it was new. It had the Acoustic Equillibration sound system and the seats were probably leather originally. Its a shame the original head unit with CD player are not with the car. But an awesome car overall! Do you know any of the car's history? Did you buy it from a dealership or a private owner?

Congratulations! Your car looks super nice! I bought my first one when I was 19 also. Many moons later and I still have her. Good luck!

thank you! It actually came with the original head unit in the trunk along with the oem floor mats. I bought it from a mazda dealership. the carfax is super clean. miles are higher than what id have wanted but I did my due dilligence research beforehand with all the hot starts, getting her to redline and whatnot on my test drive. Im looking forward to taking care of it and get hands on with a real rotary!

Noah, you made a good purchase. Someone really loved that car if they saved the head unit! Its definitely been well taken care of, as it appears to be in excellent condition overall. How does the car run and drive and how many miles are on the car?

19? I have problems older than you, life doesn't get any better than being 19, and having an RX7 to call your own. Congrats on your acquisition, welcome to the forum and let see some photos of her under your Christmas tree!

It runs and drives really well. No hesitation starting or getting to redline. its got about 144.5k miles. Im keeping it as a weekend car so im not too afraid of the mileage, plus ive concurred s4 na are much more reliable than what non rotary owners like to scare about. little scared of the FPD fires that can happen so the delete kit is looking to be my first "mod".
