, I'm 25 and I just picked up an '88 vert from a guy here locally. Looks like he took really good care of it while he had it too, almost everything still works (and that's saying a lot for a 22 year old car!) Having a little trouble with the stereo and on the driver's side, the seal between the convertible top and the top of the window doesn't meet completely, as I found out at the car wash. Other than that, I'm amazed by how good of shape this thing is in.

Anyway, I'm glad to have found such a useful well of information and I hope to be able to contribute a little myself as time goes on. Hopefully I can keep this thing in once piece for as long as possible, because I plan to drive the snot out of it... What's the point of buying something if it just sits in a garage, after all?
