hi names travis I have an 89 fc im building for proam drift series here in texas I am owner of StatusWorks here in tomball tx been building and messing with car nonstop past few weeks about to swap out the 13b this is one of my favorite cars out there still to this day I just got rid of my v8s13 vert to get this build going heard this was a great site for help and parts lol

 

Hey travis what are you swapping back in? A V8 LOL. Everyone wants me to swap a V8 into my triumph spitfire but being as I race it on the road course I don't want all that extra weight not to mention the balance would be off.

no build thread yet kinda busy with customer cars at the moment but I think I may go 5.0 I wanted to go vq35 but the test fit showed us way more work than its worth so I ditched that idea and were currently doing a fc with a sbc so kinda want to be different

What is the general consensus on v8 swaps on this forum? Some forums are adamant about keeping the rotors and shun you for even talking about v8s.

Anyone want to go over to Travis' garage and bang on the door for me? This asshat owes me. It's been a month since he took my money and he shut his phone off now.

I gave this *** clown a check for $900 for a tii swap. He said it was at his buddy's place to get put in a crate. He cashed my check. Then I don't hear from him for a week. I call asking wtf. He gives me a bs answer about being busy. Then I text him more a few weeks later. Nothing. Now his phone is disconnected and I have no way to contact him at all.

My friend is a judge in the area and he looked up Travis Dubois (the seller). Let's just say he didn't find good things about him or his shop stanceworks.

 

**** man that sucks, hate when you put your trust in so called professionals and they end up being dodgy.

Thanks. Same here. So far he's committed mail fraud which is a federal offense. So he would most likely go to pound-me-in-the-*** prison.
