Howdy, I'm Kevin (KevinK2) from Wilmington, DE. I bought my 93 Touring model around 1996, 2nd owner, as a replacement for my 924Turbo DD and tracked car (Summit Point). I was sold on the car shape based on Mazda's wins at LeMans. As was practice, I immediately bought every Mazda shop manual for the car, and studied them. I then joined the "Big List" .. an early type of forum. Many of my technical posts can be found in the tech archives.

I was a motorhead from early highschool, and went to Worster Tech for a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Then joined Dupont, and found my nitch in the central Engineering Consulting Group ... we solved machine & process problems that the plant engineers could not solve.

I put 40,000 miles on my 750 Suzuki and Triumph, with several trips to Daytona's Bike week. Also raced Mountain Bikes, and prepped with 4000 miles a year on my road bike, with friends. I started doing track events before HPDE's existed, and eventually was asked to be an instructor .. I declined. Have been an avid Acoustic guitar, and Bass guitar player, and have been in several bands.
