1990 Rag Top…..82k bought in 1991 with 9k on it.

Recently someone tried to make off with it….drilled the ignition. Part still replaceable? Links please. Thanks in Advance.

Welcome to the forum!! The ignition cylinder and key set are still available. It's a shame that someone tried to steal your car.

 

I wired two buttons that no one knows about to my anti-theft relay AND a third clandestine button that you have to hold down to start the car. NO ONE starts my car except for me. Welcome to the dark side.

I did a quick search on eBay and one ignition cylinder with key and ignition switch popped up for sale. I searched "1990 Mazda RX-7 ignition cylinder" and the first result was the listing that I am describing. I would check it against the key cylinder and switch inyour car and see if its what you need.

 

Welcome to the forum! I'm in Washington state as well but just over the mountains. Too bad about the attempted theft. Hope you were able to repair the ignition!
