If you don't know how to heat shrink, take it to a pro, not a tough one so most should be able to handle it.

Someone mentioned here they have Llumar, that is the greatest window film I have ever installed and I am currently in process of switching my shop over to carry it exclusively. :icon_tup:

Over here (and im sure everywhere!) theres a process called dipping (or something similar) My back was done this was, they dip it in a vat and it completely coats it, no marks, streaks etc. My back window is perfect.. Another option i suppose.

Do you know what the solar specifications are with that dipping process? What kind of a warranty did they offer you?

I can't remember off the top of my head for sure, but I believe most states in the US have banned any and all types of window tint other than a film application type.

It was done before i got the car.. would expect 12months warranty i'd have thought.. Its just pretty gud because you dont get swirl marks on the tint film when you clean them.. Sorry dont kow much else. Its dark tho, REAL dark! Makes revering a bit difficult, normally have my door open if going up to a wall or something!

Is it something that if you picked at it it would peel off, and if so is it a sheet of film, or a glue like substance.

If you ever get a chance, take a picture from the outside of the car of the rear window about 2-3 inches from the edge of the glass, the visible glass area will be bordered by dot matrix.....take a close of of that area if you can. :)

I jsut have never heard of a dipping process, and I wonder if you just have REALLY dark tint and someone sold you a lie. But if it is dipped, I'll have to look into this process. :)

I don't mean to 2nd guess you, I'm just curious is all. :icon_tup:

Sorry for late reply, yeah ill try and get some photos up. The tint goes to the edge, no step as if a film had been applied. Obviously no creases, cuts or different colours where it may have been contoured to the crazy curve. Its honestly that good I thought these cars had a factory option of coming rear tinted..
