Shine Auto Burnout and Vertex Bodykit Fitment (FD3S)

Hey everyone,

My cars been in the shop for a long time now to get painted and due constant communication issues I'm beginning to question the competency of some of the people working there which leads me to this post.

I've never installed a bodykit on any car I've owned. How should I be looking on gaps and fitment on kits installed by a body shop. I have the shine auto burnout rear bumper and vertex front bumper (authentic).

Note that the lights are not mounted/screwed in. I didn't include drivers front because that was spot on. There's a small stress fracture you can barely see in the pictures I'm going to ask them about as well. I'm pretty sure cars a supposed to leave the shop with new paint and no cracks or scratches after a fresh paint job...

If no one has these exact bumpers can you tell me what the proper way to fit a kit is? Should they have done more fiberglass work to better fit the gaps?

i'd get them to get the fitment better if you're paying a ton for the paint and body.

Ya some of those gaps look like they could be better. One thing that I did for the front fender and the hood gap is go to Toyota and buy a Scion front rubber seal...its the same thing they use for their hood and bumper gap. Makes it look nice and more up to date.

Yup, asked them to remount the front and it came out perfect except the hood gap which is just how the bumper is made. Rear is just a little closer as well. Front is what bugged me the most. I'll get some pics up in a bit

I'm a little surprised of the fitment on the shine rear bumper. I installed my own kit from shine to save money and had minimal issues.
