hi i would like to know if an rx8 stock shift **** would fit in my rx7 fd3s?? manual tranny

 

Yep, it'll fit.

You should be able to pick up a 5-speed **** pretty cheap where you're at.

 

thanks for the info.. and I would also like to know what u would reccomend if I wanted a new shift boot?? I;m thinking of a mesh type boot similar to the likes of honda's typre r ones.. anyway thanks

 

RX8 **** with Redline Leather shifter and E-brake boot. Hard to tell in the picture, but FWIW, a chrome Miata E-brake release button matches the polished pieces of the **** pretty well.

Thread pitch on 86-88 is 12x1.50
Thread pitch on 89-92 is 10x1.25
Thread pitch on 93-95 is 10x1.25


It'll fit an S5, but not an S4.

I don't know the seller, but this doesn't sound like a bad deal...though I didn't pay quite that much for mine. You might want to check the RX8 forums too.
