He put in rx8 r3 seats not sportster CS and from what i recall the rx8 seats do not fit well.

I believe those are 5point where as the sportster cs is 3 point.

I had a pair of Sportster CSs in my E92 M3... GREAT seats and fit the personality of the FD.

Sounds like they fit on stock rails with a little modification.

^those are pretty sharp.

Edit: looking at pics online, the seat bottoms look like they'd be too wide to fit an FD. just my opinion

I'll be honest. I just looked at pictures of the seats outside of the car and they look a lot "fatter" then I remember. I'm sure that's because the M3 has put on some pounds since the E30.

That said, someone is claiming in the fits/doesn't fit thread they do on OE rails so....

They do fit on modded OE rails, but they are snug. Sammy from Belgium was the first guy to put them in an FD to my knowledge and was really helpful in sending over pictures of the rails he created to get them in. I'm now in the process of doing the same for my car.

hey man any chance you ended up making a set of rails to fit those seats in your fd? Im
currently trying see what’s involved in get some in my fd.
