Looks just like the stock shift knob but with "Mazdaspeed" on the side.

Hi I have the mazdaspeed shiftknob for sale. It was used for two months then I decided to change it for a Rx-8 shiftknob. Rx-7.com sales it for $95.00 plus shipping, I want $80.00 shipped. thanks!!!!

Whoever told you that don't know shit. It's even weighted like the stock knob is too.

I think JT was alluding to this, but i have the carbon fiber "look" kind with a rubber grip in front, if anyone wants me to take pics of that i'd be glad to.

I told him that and its true. Just look at the pic you included, and how the stock shift boot ring is smaller than the base. BTW I had one for two years.

I'll back you up. I've had one for 2 years as well..

It feels just a tiny bit bigger in your hand, and it tapers less than the stock knob so it'a larger at the base. Not so much that it's a big deal. The leather MS knob is still your best option for a stock-like replacement.

Yeah actually the difference in size was so noticeable and annoying to me that I sold it about 3 years ago and just got a new stocker from the dealership.

Eh, nobody ever shifts with their hand on the base of the knob, right? :) I sat in a car w/ a leather MS knob, and my impression was that it was the same as stock. My bad. I suppose there is a difference, albeit marginal.
